Get to Know Me
My name is Lennie and I am currently located just south of the Lake District in the UK.
I worked in the retail and hospitality industry for 20 years, selling all sorts of things from books, food and greetings cards, to music, clothes and coffee! I loved being able to see and talk to people on a daily basis as well as helping others when they needed it.
The desire to do a bit more "meaningful" work took me from the retail industry to being a carer - helping (mainly) elderly clients with whatever they needed, be it personal care, getting their shopping, doing the housework, or just brewing a good ol' cup of Yorkshire tea and having a chinwag!
I've also always enjoyed being a bit creative. Although I can't draw or paint for toffee, I did find that I really enjoyed computer design and graphics. Being able to put different elements together, to create something new to look at, always filled me with joy. So when social media became such a massive thing in our lives, it was always fun to create posts and reels to put on there, as well as seeing what others were doing and what ideas they were sharing.
After helping a few of my friends with some things that I found relatively simple, but they struggled with, I thought to myself "Hang on, I can use my skills to help people in this area", and so Social Content Magic was born!
